1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO and its i3 EVO sibling, the i3 EVO, are identical robots, but they differ in that the i3+ has self-emptying features. The i3+ is an excellent option for those who want a fully automated, hands-off cleaning experience but are willing to manually empty the dust bin when it is full.
Both robots excel at cleaning up surface debris from carpets and hard floors, and they are very good at moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates intelligent maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ doesn't have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have test. It could be stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between different surfaces, like hardwood and rug.
iRobot suggests that you clean up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it may encounter. robot floor cleaner should also keep the dustbin and filters clean to prevent them from getting blocked. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. It then continues cleaning from where it began. The battery's life span is approximately an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully charge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot and has the most up-to-date features. It has self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most significant feature is the self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

The Roomba i7+ is able to remember up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, which lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or through the app.
In our tests, the i7+ was more agile and faster than our second-placed model, the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface kinds including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy it self-empties its dust bin, which removes a major source of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. After connecting, we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car in a world of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It is powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, but also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.

The advanced whole-machine filter system is able to trap allergens and then releases fresh air into your home. The main drawback of the V10 is its limited running time. Its claims on the market that it can last up to 60 minutes of run time are misleading as CR's tests show. This is a typical not an extraordinary time to run the battery-powered cordless vacuum. This is still enough to get rid of the majority of an average-sized house however, it's not enough to get every single area (though the second time around usually does the trick). This model has its own advantages however: it's lighter and more mobile than previous Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is noticeably superior for carpet floors with low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
The 694 is a standard robot vacuum that's a great choice for those who don't have lots of money to invest in the latest model of robot. This means that it may get stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't in good condition, and frequently runs out of battery power before making it back to its original location.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694, as it has less parts that require regular cleaning, is outfitted with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower costs for recurring expenses and is more sophisticated in its automation capabilities and is better able to maneuver itself. It also has a larger dustbin and charges faster.
The RoboVac X8 is a slick RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 for most purposes, because it has a longer battery life, has the ability to alter its suction power mode manually and comes with physical boundary strips, and is controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant. In our testing, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors, and also handled dog hair (on carpet) quite well, clearing up 86% of it. However, it wasn't particularly well with taller objects like cords and socks which was a disappointment. It's also a bit more expensive than some of the other models we've tested, which might be a deal-breaker for some shoppers.
The app allows you to access the camera onboard of the smart vacuum. You can also set up live streaming from the robot's area of cleaning.
